Marvin
Marvin came to DunRoamin' on the afternoon of January 9, 2026, from the Cloverdale area.  He had apparently been one of five cats who were abandoned in the area approximately ten months previously, and although neighbours had been feeding them, only one remained, and he needed help.  Coyotes had been seen in the area and he had been living outdoors for too long.  It was time to be warm and safe.

Marvin was examined by his new vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic where it was determined that he was only about a year old, having been born about January 9, 2024.  He had a potted belly, parasites and required a dental as one of his canines was digging into his jaw - this must have been painful!  Marvin underwent dental surgery to correct this, he was neutered on January 9, 2026, and he was tested for FIV, FeLV and Heartworm (all of which were negative) to ensure he was safe and healthy.

His vaccines are up to date as of mid-February 2027 and he is ready for a home where he can once again live inside and be loved, safe, warm and well cared for.  He thanks the people who rescued him and provided donations to help with his care such as food, medication and dental surgery.  He is a very nice little guy, and he is certainly grateful for his new temporary home at The Purrfect Cup, Two Nations Crossing, NB while he waits to be chosen as a permanent family member - he can't wait!!  Please drop in to The Purrfect Cup, have a fantastic cup of coffee, a treat, and spend some time with some very nice cats and their staff!

On May 22, 2026, Marvin was very happy to be chosen by a very nice lady to join her family in Woodman's Point, NB, where he will receive the love, care and life that he truly deserves.  Congratulations, Marvin, we are very happy for you.  We look forward to hearing from you and your new family very soon.
Mipha
Mipha came to DunRoamin' on October 27, 2025 from Windsor, NB, when her family could no longer take care of her.  Mipha had many scabs on her body and a large amount of fur was missing from her back.  She had a scar on her left cornea, and she was also underweight, dehydrated, not at all comfortable and required medical care that her family could not provide.

Mipha required parasite control and several weeks of intensive medical care under the supervision of her new best vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic to heal her medical issues.  As of November 15, 2025, she was back with us and doing much better.  Her fur has grown back in and she is obviously feeling better.  She is now fine thanks to the medical care she has received.  She is a very grateful little cat, and shows it constantly - her life changed drastically!  She will require parasite control every few months to ensure she does not develop more scabs, but she is 100% again!

Mipha is tiny in stature, but huge in personality.  She loves people and would be oh-so-grateful to have her very own human, especially if she could sleep on their lap during the day and their bed at night!  She is very social, but would prefer to be the only cat in the household - she likes having all the attention to herself!

On May 15, 2026, Mipha was adopted by a very nice lady from Nortondale.  Mipha will be her only pet, and she is very much looking forward to all the attention and love she is about to receive!  Congratulations, Mipha!  Send lots of photos!!
Waiver
Waiver came to us on April 1, 2026, from the Carlingford area where she was a stray who had been hanging around seeking refuge from the cold and wet weather for the past several months.  Although food had been provided, her only shelter was under a porch.  Her rescuer was now thinking that she had become pregnant and required a better, safer location than they were able to provide.

Waiver was brought to DunRoamin' where it was determined that she had been born about April 2, 2024, so was only about two years old.  She was initially hissy and timid, but once she realized she was warm, safe and surrounded by friends, she quickly became friendly and grateful for a heated bed and lots of fresh, nutritious food.  Waiver was examined by her new best vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic who determined that she was very thin and had some tartar on her teeth, but appeared to be otherwise healthy.

Once acclimatized, Waiver became a friendly, happy and comfortable little girl who is now fully up to date on her protocol of spay, vaccines, FIV/FeLV/Heartworm tests and parasite control.  She is ready for a new home as of the end of April, and looks forward to being chosen as a new roommate and family member of some lucky person(s)!

On May 3, 2026, Waiver hit the jackpot when both she and her friend Coltrane were chosen to join a family in Fredericton where they will be spoiled for the remainder of their lives, as it should be!  Congratulations, Waiver!  Send lots of photos of you and your new family!!
Coltrane
Coltrane came to DunRoamin' from the Upper Kent area on April 1, 2026.  He had been a stray who had been hanging around the neighbourhood for quite some time, but no one could take him in.  He had last been seen in December 2025, but had recently returned, and his rescuer reported that he was now badly matted and she believed she felt scabs all over his body.  She also reported that Coltrane appeared to enjoy being around her small dog - perhaps he lived in a home with one before having to live outdoors on his own.

Coltrane was examined by his new best vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic where it was determined that he was about three years old, having been born about April 2, 2023.  Coltrane will require at least one tooth to be removed in the near future, and he required his body to be completely shaved as he was extremely matted, had parasites and was very uncomfortable.

Coltrane was neutered on April 2, 2026, treated for parasites and received all his vaccinations.  He tested negative for FIV, FeLV and Heartworm and is happy to soon be adopted as an indoor-only cat to the adoring family he hopes is waiting for him!

On May 3, 2026, Coltrane was very excited to be chosen as a new member of a young family from Fredericton.  And as a happy added bonus, his friend Waiver was also invited to join their family, so he will always have feline companionship as well!  Congratulations, Coltrane!  Write soon!
Swoon
Swoon came to DunRoamin' on February 8, 2026 from the Lakeville area where she was a stray who was hanging around a house.  There were several others, but all were nervous and scared.  Fortunately, little Swoon was brave enough to allow her rescuer to bring her inside where she could be warm and safe.  However, due to the number of pets already residing at this home, her rescuer was unable to provide Swoon with the care she required, so she came to us as a last resort.

Swoon was born about June 12, 2025, so was only about eight months old.  She was cold, scared and very skinny, but her personality soon bloomed once she experienced a warm bed and plenty of healthy food!  Swoon is a very nice little girl who was happy to be warm and safe.  She was spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV, FeLV and heartworm and treated for all parasites.  On March 14, 2026, she went to The Purrfect Cup, Two Nations Crossing, to spend some time with her friends there while she awaited a family to come find her.  Please drop in to The Purrfect Cup - you'll be amazed at their coffee and treats!  You'll enjoy their cats, too!

On May 2, 2026, Swoon was very pleased to learn that she had been chosen as the newest addition to a loving family in Jemseg where she will enjoy her new young friends and live the life she deserves.  Congratulations, Swoon!  Write soon, and send lots of photos!!
Stryder
Stryder came to DunRoamin' on March 15, 2026 from the Perth-Andover area where he had been abandoned at a home.  As there were allergies in the home, this family could not keep him.  All attempts to find him a place in another home or shelter had failed, and as he had been living for several months in one room by himself, he needed help.

Stryder was examined by his new vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic where he was found to be in good condition.  He was neutered, tested for FIV, FeLV and Heartworm on March 19, 2026 and  he tested negative for all.  He is an extremely social and loving little buff orange boy who is grateful for his new chance at a real life and a family who will care for and love him forever.

Stryder was soon spoken for by a couple who has adopted four DunRoamin' cats, all of whom were spoiled beyond their dreams.

On May 1, 2026, Stryder met the gentleman who would offer him the best home ever!  Stryder now lives in Saint John with Dove and Brando, two former DunRoamin' strays, and they will be best friends and spoiled forever!  Congratulations, Stryder!  Say hello to Dove and Brando for us!  Write soon!

Enid
Enid came to DunRoamin' on March 18, 2026 from the Wicklow area where she was a stray who had been hanging around for about a week seeking food and shelter.  There were no other houses close by, but a check of neighbours revealed that she was not known to anyone, so it was assumed that she had been dropped off.  A gentleman had been trying to help her out, but his dogs were not happy to have her in their presence.  He gave her food and shelter, for which she was very grateful.

Enid was examined by her new vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic and the following was learned:  she was born about March 19, 2019, so was a senior citizen; she had cauliflower ears which were packed with ear mites and debris; she had gingivitis and tartar on her teeth; signs of arthritis were beginning to show in her left knee; her tail had previously been broken near the base; and her left eye had a luxating lens - she could not see out of it, and it was potentially causing her pain.

Enid had lots of issues and required assistance.  She was taken to the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic where, on March 19, 2026, her new vet friend removed her left eye and began the path to her new, healthy, pain-free life.  Enid was spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV, FeLV and Heartworm, and given the best of medical care which also included pain medication and parasite control for the parasites she had collected during her outdoor survival experience.

Enid has obviously had a challenging life, but today she hit the jackpot.  She appreciates her new, warm bed and her constant and nutritious diet.  She is very grateful to her new vet friend and to her DunRoamin' servants, as well as to the gentleman who made this new life possible by helping her get off the streets and into a safe, loving environment.

On April 25, 2026, Enid went to join her new family in Fredericton where she will be loved forever!  Congratulations, Enid!  You have the life which you always deserved at last!  Please send lots of photos!  We will miss you!
Stewie
Stewie, a little black and white kitten, came to DunRoamin' on December 10, 2025 from near Centreville where he was found under a porch, along with his brother, Bryan, who is a little grey tabby.  These little guys were born about October 10, 2025, and were all alone - no mom or siblings found.  They obviously needed help, but no one was able to take them in, and the recent weather has been very cold.  There were no tracks around indicating a mom may have been with them, so they came to us for help.

Both kittens had upper respiratory infection, were cold and hungry.  They were immediately assessed by their vet at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic.  They were soon fully vaccinated, tested for FIV, FeLV and heartworm and treated for all parasites, and were anxious to join a family of their very own.  Bryan and his brother hoped to be adopted together, as they have never been separated and are doing well together!  They wrestle, play and cuddle together, and since they don't have a mom, a brother is very important to them!

Bryan and Stewie spent some time with their friends at The Purrfect Cup - A Cat Cafe in Two Nations Crossing where they enjoyed themselves immensely, thanks to the kindness and care of their new staff.  Please drop in and check out this Cafe - it is AMAZING, and you will love their coffees and treats (and their cats!)

On April 18, 2026, Stewie and Bryan were so happy to learn that they had been chosen to join a family in Fredericton Junction where they will be loved and spoiled for the rest of their lives.  Congratulations!!  Write soon, and let us know how you are enjoying your new home!  We look forward to hearing from you and seeing lots of photos!
Bryan
Bryan, a little grey tabby kitten, came to DunRoamin' on December 10, 2025 from near Centreville where he was found under a porch, along with his brother, Stewie, a little black and white sweetheart.

Bryan's right eye was almost completely closed due to his infection, and medication was prescribed three times a day to help him become healthy again.  As of January 15, 2025, both boys are strong, playful and cuter than we can express!

They were soon fully vaccinated, tested for FIV, FeLV and heartworm and treated for all parasites, and were anxious to join a family of their very own.  Bryan and his brother hope to be adopted together, as they have never been separated and are doing well together!

Tilley
Tilley came to DunRoamin' on February 26, 2026, from the Perth-Andover area where she was a stray who had been taken in by a kind couple as she had been hanging around outdoors, and the temperatures are really cold this month!  She needed food and warmth, which her rescuers were happy to provide.  However, it was reported that she had begun peeing outside the litter box and her pee appeared to be of a crystalline nature.  As her rescuers were unable to take on her medical requirements, she came to us.

Tilley was born about August 11, 2024 and is a beautiful little girl.  She has one blue eye that makes her even more beautiful.  She was initially stressed in her new environment, but was soon doing much better.  Tilley was examined by her new vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic and found to have no urinary issues, and she displayed none during her time at DunRoamin' or at The Purrfect Cup, so she's good!  Tilley was spayed and tested on February 27, 2026 and received her final vaccines in March 2026.  She is an exceptionally affectionate, playful and loving little girl, and she will be looking forward to meeting the people who might choose to be her new family very soon.

On March 27, 2026, she was happy to spend some time at The Purrfect Cup - A Cat Cafe in Two Nations Crossing, Fredericton, where she enjoyed the company of other cats, as well as her new servants.  Please drop in - you'll LOVE their coffee, and you'll also enjoy their cats!  Have fun, Tilley!

On April 18, 2026, Tilley was so happy to learn that she had been invited to join a family in Fredericton Junction where she will be spoiled and loved forever.  Congratulations, Tilley!  Write soon!!  We look forward to lots of photos!
Etta
Etta came to DunRoamin' from the Centreville area on November 27, 2025, where she was a stray who had taken advantage of the kindness of a family who offered shelter in their barn for wayward little cats.  This family noticed that something was definitely not right with Etta.

Etta was immediately accepted by DunRoamin' and examined by her new best vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic.  She was diagnosed with subcutaneous emphysema, a condition in which air leaks from the respiratory tract and becomes trapped under the skin.  This appeared to have been caused by a large polyp above her soft pallet which obstructed her airway.  This was most probably congenital, so had been there since birth.  She is a very lucky little girl to have been found, and to receive the medical assistance so generously provided by her new vet friends and by the many people who have financially supported her recovery.  Etta was born about November 27, 2024, so was only about a year old.

As of November 28, just one day after her surgery, she was resting, eating wet food, purring and is grateful for her new life.  She was soon a happy,, healthy, purring little orange ball of gratitude, kindness and love.  As of January 10, 2026, she is spending time with her friends at The Purrfect Cup, Two Nations Crossing, Fredericton.  Please check out this fantastic place - lots of great coffee, snacks and cats!!

On April 4, 2026, Etta got the best gift of her life when she was adopted by a young couple from Moncton.  She is now their only pet, so will be spoiled with the best of love and life.  We look forward to hearing from both you and your new family, Etta, so get ready to send lots of photos!  Congratulations!!
Espresso
Espresso, her mom Barista and her siblings Latte, Java and Kona came to us on June 1, 2021, from the Perth-Andover area.  Espresso and her siblings were born about April 13, 2021.  Espresso had ear mites which were quickly treated.  Espresso was soon spayed, fully vaccinated and tested for FIV and FeLV and was soon adopted into a new home on August 7, 2021.   As an added bonus, her sister Latte was also invited to join this wonderful family.

On December 4, 2025, both Espresso and her sister Latte returned to DunRoamin' as per our adoption agreement as their family was longer able to care for them.  Espresso required some dental work in late January 2026 and her vaccines are fully up to date.  She and her sister are looking forward to a new home together again soon.  They are both loving and beautiful little girls who have never been separated.

On March 15, 2026, Espresso and her sister Latte were both adopted into a wonderful home in Rusagonis, NB, where they will be spoiled even more!  They are very happy to have a home in which to romp and explore, and they are very happy to have their very own personal human again!  Thanks for keeping these two little ones together!  Please write soon!
Latte
Latte, her mom Barista and her siblings Kona, Java and Espresso came to us on June 1, 2021, from the Perth-Andover area.  She was born about April 13, 2021 and was skinny and her intestines were full of parasites.  She was monitored to ensure she would be well and was soon doing just great.  Latte was soon fully vaccinated, spayed, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for her parasites.  She is a sweet little girl who loved the comfort and friendship of her siblings and was the first to play everyone out, then want to cuddle for a nap before starting all over again!   On August 7, 2021, Latte was elated to join her new family in the Fredericton area where she enjoyed a beautiful new house with great cat-friendly rooms with lots of windows - she had a great time bird watching! And guess what?? Her sister, Espresso, got to go, too!

On December 4, 2025, both Latte and her sister Espresso were returned to DunRoamin' as per our adoption contract when their family could no longer care for them.  They were initially stressed and lost some weight due to not wanting to eat, but they soon realized they were safe and would also be loved and cared for in their new environment.  They are fully up to date on their vaccines and ready to go to a new home together - they have never been separated.  They look forward to living in a loving home once again.

On March 15, 2026, Latte and her sister Espresso were very happy to join the family of a young man in Rusagonis where they will once again be spoiled beyond their wildest dreams.  Congratulations, girls!  Write soon!  And often!!
Harper
Harper and her brother Tupper, along with their mom, Pearson, and siblings Campbell, Turner and Diefenbaker, originally came to DunRoamin’ on June 30, 2014, from the Holmesville area.  Sadly, Pearson and Campbell were ill and passed shortly after their arrival.  The remaining kittens needed constant care and had to be fed and stimulated to go to the bathroom every few hours around the clock.  They were born about June 8, 2014.  They received all the love, care and medical attention required and were soon healthy and happy little cats.

Harper and Tupper were adopted together in October 2014, but returned to DunRoamin’ years later in early June 2025 when their senior owner could no longer care for them.  They were scared upon their arrival but soon settled in and have shown us what sweet cats they still are.  They both love being patted and brushed, and Tupper loves belly rubs.  Both require a diet of Royal Canin Urinary S/O food, which they love.

Both cats were extremely overweight, but we followed a diet plan set forth by their vet to help them safely shed some pounds.  Harper weighed 16.5 lbs upon arrival – her ideal weight is about nine pounds.  As of March 9, 2026, she weighs 13.6 lb - great job!!  Harper has some arthritis in her left knee and required three teeth to be removed, but is now perfectly fine.  We are looking forward to helping them lead healthier lives.

Harper and Tupper looked forward to one day having a new home, together – they have never been apart since birth!  A nice, quiet home to spend their senior years is their wish!  These two are beautiful cats with wonderful, laid-back, loving personalities.

On March 14, 2026, Harper and Tupper received a very nice gift  when they were adopted by a young couple from Saint John, and they will spend the rest of their lives being spoiled rotten and loved beyond their wildest dreams!  This lovely couple has already purchased beds, toys, cat trees, etc, and will provide the lives of which these two beautiful cats have dreamed.  We are so grateful that these two get to stay together and will have a family to love them forever.   We look forward to hearing about your new life and seeing new photos!

Yahtzee
Yahtzee came to DunRoamin' on September 30, 2025 from the Centreville area where a large colony of cats has been growing uncontrolled, despite our best efforts.  Fortunately, neighbours have been feeding and providing shelter for some, and on this day Yahtzee and five of his friends (Bingo, Jenga, Wordle, Catan and Boggle) were fortunate enough to join us.  Yahtzee was born about June 19, 2025.

Yahtzee and his friends were scared, as they had received little socialization.  They were immediately provided with parasite control for fleas and ear mites and received lots of love and socialization so that they may be adopted into loving homes.  They all stayed in one room so that they had each other for company, and all are now neutered, tested for FIV and FeLV, fully vaccinated and treated for all parasites.

Yahtzee is currently spending time with our friends at The Purrfect Cup, Two Nations Crossing, Fredericton.  This cat cafe is amazing - come check them out!  Great coffee, great snacks and great cats!!

On March 14, 2026, Yahtzee was very happy to be invited to join the family of a very nice lady in Fredericton where he will be a new brother for her cat who lost his best feline friend and is very lonely.  Yahtzee is the perfect boy to fill that spot!  Thanks to his new family for choosing him to join their family.  Please send lots of photos and updates on this little boy - he is a very special little boy!
Ranger
Ranger came to DunRoamin' on May 8, 2025, from the Florenceville area as a surrender who had medical issues his owners could not undertake.  Ranger was born about October 6, 2015.  His eye had become infected, it had ruptured and now required surgery to remove it.  We accepted him and his surgery took place as soon as possible.  Ranger recovered very well, and as all our cats with only one eye have shown us, he is just fine!  He sees well with just one eye, and he was quick to show his loving personality once he felt better.

Ranger is a beautiful little boy who loves people, but is not necessarily a fan of other cats.  He would love to be an only cat in a quiet home, and would be a wonderful companion, especially for a senior or two.  He loves the quiet household interactions with people and, once he settles in - he's perfect!

Ranger was fostered by a lady in Florenceville, and was very happy there, but looked forward to a permanent home and human(s) of his very own.   He is a very sweet boy.

On March 9, 2026, Ranger was adopted by a very nice young lady from Norton.  Ranger will now spend the rest of his life being spoiled (as he should!) and being the very best friend of the human who drove so far to meet him.  He is already very well loved, and we are grateful to his new family!  Send lots of updates, Ranger - your foster mother will miss you!
Scrubbs
Scrubbs came to DunRoamin' on June 17, 2025 from the Wakefield, NB, area where it was reported that she was a stray who had been hanging around asking for help for quite some time.  Unfortunately, no one could help her.  She was born about June 19, 2024.

Scrubbs was relatively healthy, but her teeth were in terrible condition, especially for a little girl only about a year old.  She required all her teeth to be removed, and she was soon doing SO much better.  She eats both hard and soft food easily, as do most cats who have all teeth removed.  She is a very sweet little head butter who is initially shy, but once she gets to know you, you're in!  She is a long-haired grey tabby, and she definitely knows how beautiful she is!  She is spayed and her vaccines are up to date until July, 2026, so she is ready for a family - she can't wait!!

On February 4, 2026, Scrubbs's dream came true when she was adopted by a couple in Somerville.  Scrubbs, now renamed Penny, will live happily ever after with her new family.  She will especially enjoy spending time with her new mom who works from home and will always have a free hand to dangle her favourite snake toy or give her a loving pat.  Congratulations to all!

Coral
Coral came to us on February 3, 2025 from the Bath area where she was one of several cats for whom no one could care.  That meant that she may not have had much of a chance at a decent life - it's cold and dangerous out there with no one to help!  Coral was born about August 6, 2022 and is a sweetheart.  She was initially nervous around her new humans, but quickly acclimatized to her many admirers and caregivers.

Coral has huge beautiful eyes and a coat that is now shiny and sleek.  She likes most other cats, but sometimes has an attitude - we love it!  She loves to sleep underneath blankets - if you can't find her, start looking there!   She is spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites, and is anxious to meet her new family.  She looks forward to that!  Coral certainly has personality to spare, and although she can tolerate most other cats, she may be most comfortable in a home where she can be the only feline - and therefore, the boss!!

On February 3, 2026, exactly one year from the date she came to us, Coral was adopted by a very nice family from Hartford.  She will now  be spoiled rotten by her new family which includes her new best nine-year-old human friend.  Congratulations, Coral, to both you and your new family!  Send lots of photos!!
Dorothea
Dorothea came to DunRoamin' on September 30, 2025 from the Southampton, NB area.  Her mother had been struck and killed by a vehicle four days before, and no one was able to care for Dorothea and her three siblings, Midas, Marjorie and Merlot.  Upon her arrival at DunRoamin', Dorothea was not doing well.

Her new vet friend diagnosed Dorothea as having fleas, she was underweight, dehydrated, had flea anemia and a body temperature of only 34.8*C (it should be closer to 39*C).  She required lots of warmth, sub-cutaneous IV fluids and antibiotics, as well as further medical care with which she was provided by staying at the Florenceville Veterinary clinic under the care of professionals for almost three days, where she was also fed multiple times daily by syringe when she did not wish to ingest nourishment on her own.  Her siblings stayed with her to give her company and someone to cuddle with so she would not be scared.

As of October 6, 2025, Dorothea was doing much better.  She was bright-eyed, active, eating mostly on her own (she sometimes required some syringe-feeding) and she loved her caregivers.  She still required a bit of encouragement to consume her nutritious food on occasion, but she slowly gained weight and was soon doing better each day.  She wrestled, played and climbed with her siblings and it we soon knew she would be fine!  She was grateful to all those wonderful people who ensured she had a chance at a wonderful life and loving family.  Thank you!

Dorothea is spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV, FeLV and heartworm and is treated for all parasites.  Because both she and her sister Merlot have always been together and are very close, it was their hope (and ours) that they might find a home together.  Dorothea and her sister Merlot spent time with their friends at The Purrfect Cup - A Cat Cafe in Two Nations Crossing, Fredericton, where they enjoyed themselves very much.  They hoped to meet their new family there!  Please drop in and enjoy their amazing coffee, snacks and cats!!  You'll love it there!!

On  January 31, 2026, Dorothea AND her sister Merlot were adopted by a very nice young couple from Fredericton.  These two beautiful little girls will live out the rest of their lives warm, safe, fed and loved beyond their imaginations.  Thanks to their family for keeping them together.  We look forward to many photos and stories about them as they grow.  Congratulations!!!

Merlot
Merlot came to DunRoamin' on September 30, 2025 from Southampton, NB along with her siblings Dorothea, Midas and Marjorie.  Their mom had been struck and killed by a vehicle several days previously, and they were not doing well without her, despite the efforts of the humans who found them.  Merlot was born about August 18, 2025.

Merlot was examined at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic where it was learned that she and her siblings required immediate medical intervention, including IV fluids, antibiotics and other necessities.  This intensive professional care over several days ensured that she was able to recover well and she is now doing much better.  She and her siblings were soon back with us where they showed their gratitude with purrs - and they loved to climb all over their humans!  They still required IV fluids and feeding by syringe occasionally to ensure they gained weight as they should, but overall they were soon doing well.  They had warm Snuggle Safes, a comfy bed and lots of human servants to ensure they received the very best of care - they've been through a lot, and almost didn't make it!

They are now spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites, so Merlot and her sister Dorothea would love to go to a loving home together.  They are bonded to each other, and would love to have a home together.  They would like to thank their vet staff for ensuring that they received this wonderful opportunity for such a great new life.

Merlot and her sister Dorothea spent some time with their friends at The Purrfect Cup - A Cat Cafe in Two Nations Crossing, Fredericton, where they continued to be spoiled rotten while they awaited the purrfect family to find them.   Please check out this cafe - it has amazing coffee, amazing treats and amazing cats!!

On January 31, 2026, Merlot AND her sister Dorothea were adopted by a wonderful young couple from Fredericton.  These two little girls now get to spend the rest of their lives together, and they have the best home and family ever!!  Congratulations to everyone!  We look forward to hearing from all four of you very often!  Don't forget to send lots of photos!!

Jenga
Jenga came to DunRoamin' from the Centreville, NB area on September 30, 2025 where he and five other males (three of whom were his brothers - Wordle, Catan and Boggle) were part of a colony who were living outdoors.  Fortunately, nice people were providing them with food, but very little shelter was available, and the cool days and nights of fall and winter are coming very quickly.  Jenga, a sweet little pewter grey furball, was born about April 9, 2025, and was a bit scared as he had not experienced much time being indoors with caring humans.

Jenga was neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV,  FeLV  and heartworm and treated for all parasites.  He was housed with his five friends and was given lots of socialization to ensure he is comfortable and fully aware that he is safe and will be well cared for.  He had ear mites and still had some of his baby teeth, but was otherwise healthy, although he was still timid of his new surroundings.  He loved to eat Temptations from the fingers of his DunRoamin' servants and loved being warm, safe and always having a full belly.  As of January, 2026, he was still a bit timid, but was doing well.  He asked for a family where people would be patient with him until he overcomes his old fears of having nothing, no one and no hope of a better life.  That is all in the past now, and he will soon settle in to understand that he will be safe forever, now that he has a whole new world to experience!

On January 25, 2026, Jenga was officially adopted by a wonderful family in Florenceville who have adopted and been supporters of DunRoamin' for more than 20 years.  We are very grateful for all their kindnesses and support, and grateful that both Jenga and his brother Catan now have a permanent family who will love and care for them forever.  Oreo and Rollie will be honoured to know that two more beautiful felines get to experience the wonderful life and all the love and joy that they had been given for so long.  Congratulations to all!

Carnage
Carnage came to DunRoamin' on October 10, 2025, from the Wakefield, NB, area.  He had a huge palm-sized wound on his neck from which the skin had been removed.  He was born about October 10, 2023, so was only about two years old.  He was not in good shape.

In addition to his neck wound, examination revealed that he had received a gunshot wound, and a .22-calibre bullet was still in his abdomen.  Carnage was placed under the care of his new vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic where he stayed until he was well enough to leave professional care.  He was scared, but his new vet friend had soon closed up a good portion of his neck wound, and the bullet was removed when he was strong enough to undergo that surgery.   He entered our Sponsor A Kitty program to ensure that all medical costs could be covered, and he appreciated all persons who donated to help him.

As of December 3, 2025, Carnage was doing MUCH better!  He was comfortable, pain-free and very happy to greet his caregivers at the door to his personal suite!  Three months later, he was healthy enough to be ready for a home.  His surgeries went well, he was neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV, FeLV, heart worm and treated for all parasites.  His final medical requirement would be a dental procedure in late February to ensure his teeth were good - then he was good to go!  He would like to thank everyone who donated to his medical care and sent get-well-soon messages to him - he is very grateful for their support, this new life and the opportunity to have a true, loving home and family.

On January 21, 2026, Carnage was so very fortunate to be chosen to join a family in Nackawic where he will be very well cared for and loved for the entire remainder of his life - as it should be!  He is grateful to have this wonderful second chance.  Now he knows what love really is - he hasn't had that before, and he certainly knows how to show his appreciation!  Congratulations, Carnage.  Please send lots and lots of photos - we will all miss your wonderful personality.  You are a very lucky little boy!!

Frankie
Frankie and her sister Grace came to us on October 23, 2025 from the Plaster Rock area.  Their owners had tried several shelters, but all were full and could take on no other cats, especially ones in their physical condition.  Grace and Frankie needed medical care that their current owners could not provide.

Examination by their new vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic revealed that both Frankie and her sister were severely covered with flea bites, many of which were red, bleeding and infected from their frequent scratching to rid themselves of the pain.  A huge number of fleas were also observed on their bodies and they were diagnosed with flea allergy dermatitis.  Relief was immediately provided with parasite control and antibiotic injections, as well as steroids to help them overcome and heal from the injuries inflicted from the massive number of parasites they had sustained over a long period of time.  Both girls had already been spayed upon arrival and testing for FIV and FeLV (our normal routine) proved negative for both.  Vaccine protocols were begun, and by the next day they were both feeling and looking better, thanks especially to the parasite control.  What a relief from all that scratching!!  As they may be allergic to fleas, they may require flea treatment monthly to ensure they never have to deal with this situation again.

Frankie and Grace were born about October 23, 2022 and are very nice girls.  They love attention, and love to be patted.  They are fully up to date on vaccines and parasite control and are looking forward to being invited to join a family together - they have never been separated, as far as we can learn.

On  January 20, 2026, Frankie and Grace were both invited to join the family of a gentleman in Woodstock where they will enjoy the best life ever.  In return, they will provide the best friendship and company possible - they love their new human already!  Thanks for adopting both these little girls so that they may have a wonderful life together!  We can't wait for photos!!

Zeppelin
Zeppelin came to us on November 19, 2025 from the Woodstock area.  A gentleman had been driving in the town the previous evening when he noticed a small orange kitten sitting on the side of the road.  His immediate instinct was to check on him and make sure he was okay.  He was not.  He was in pain and cried out when he moved - something was not right.

Zeppelin was brought for help and was examined at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic where he was diagnosed with a broken left hind leg.  Zeppelin was born about September 5, 2025, so was only about 10 weeks old - just a baby!  He was in a lot of pain, but patiently allowed his new human friends to examine and begin to care for him, despite the pain.  He seemed to know that he was where he needed to be.

Zeppelin immediately underwent surgery to have a pin inserted in his leg and he would like to thank his vet at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic for the assistance he received - he had most probably been in pain for some time.  He was neutered during his leg surgery, and is now fully vaccinated, tested for FIV, FeLV, heart worm and treated for all parasites.  With his new warm, safe and caring home, he will soon be fine, and we look forward to finding a family for him so he will never have to undergo such a painful and scary experience again.

Donations toward his surgery and care were very much appreciated.  Thank you for allowing us to help these beautiful animals.  We are forever grateful for your support which allows these little ones to receive the life they deserve.

On January 17, 2026, we are ecstatic to announce that Zeppelin was adopted along with Zorro by a wonderful couple in Fredericton.  As they are of very similar age, they will sleep, play and cuddle together for the rest of their lives as they entertain their new human family!  Congratulations to both these little boys - you have it made for life!  Send lots of photos and updates!
Zorro
Zorro came to DunRoamin' on November 24, 2025 from the Royalton area where he had been found on the side of the road all by himself.  His rescuer noted that there was blood on the road beside him.  No mom or siblings were located.

Zorro was examined by his new best vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic where the following was learned:  he was born about October 2, 2025, so was only about seven weeks old.  His right eye and the side of his face displayed bloody injuries, as well as his right shoulder.  Perhaps he was sideswiped by a vehicle or injured by another animal.  He is loving and affectionate, obviously very grateful to be warm, safe, dry and in a warm bed with caring people to wait on him hand and foot.

Zorro was neutered, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV, FeLV and heart worm and treated for all parasites.  He looked forward to being welcomed into a loving home where he can live a well-loved life in warmth and safety.  In the meantime, he loved playing with toys, carrying around soft toys in his mouth and chasing Brix up and down the hall!

On January 17, 2026, Zorro was elated to be adopted by a very nice couple from Fredericton!  He also got a new adopted brother, Zeppelin, who is similar in age, so they can burn off that kitty energy on each other!  We look forward to hearing from you, Zorro!  Congratulations!!
Fable
Fable came to us on November 25, 2025 from the Upper Kent area where she and her son, Forge, were strays who were being cared for by a gentleman who could not see them be cold or hungry.  Four other kittens had already found homes, but Fable and Forge still remained, and no further assistance was available for them.

Fable was born about November 13, 2023 and is a beautiful and friendly little girl.  Her ear tips fold backwards, but there appears to be no physical injury or issue with that - it just gives her more personality!  She has beautiful markings (she is a Tortie Point) and is exceptionally loving and grateful for the care she and her son are receiving.  Each is very attached to the other, and if they are separated they immediately meow and try to locate each other.  Fable and Forge play together, wrestle and cuddle - they obviously are strongly bonded, and we hope that they may get to go to a home together.  Fable is spayed, fully vaccinated, tested for FIV and FeLV and treated for all parasites, as is her son Forge.

On January 14, 2025, we were all very excited to learn that both Fable (now Echo) and her son Forge (now Ellis) were chosen to join the family of a wonderful couple in Fredericton who already have adopted our Morris (now August) and Aura (now Flora).  They also have another sibling, Kitty.  Congratulations to everyone!  Thank you for giving a wonderful home to two more DunRoamin' cats!  We know they will all bring you lots of joy!!  Send lots of photos!
Forge
Forge came to DunRoamin' along with his mom, Fable, on November 13, 2025 from the Upper Kent, NB area.  Born about September 25, 2025, he was just a cute cuddly little baby!  He and his mom had been strays who, fortunately, had been taken in by a gentleman who could not bear the idea of them being cold, wet and hungry, so he helped them as much as he possibly could.  Four siblings of Forge's had found homes, but he and his mom still remained, and no further option was available for either.  Forge appeared to have an issue with his neck, as his head tilted to one side and he showed a bit of a minor balance issue.

Forge was examined by his new vet friend at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic who diagnosed him with upper respiratory infection and parasites, for which he was immediately treated.   His neck tilt slowly went away - perhaps he had strained his neck at some point, as his new vet friend found no medical issue, and he soon was 100%.   Forge and his mom, Fable, are very close - if they are separated even for a minute, each immediately begins to meow and search for the other.  Because of this closeness, we hoped that they might be adopted together.  Forge was neutered, received his full vaccine protocol and was tested for Heartworm, FIV and FeLV.  He and his mom anxiously awaited the day they might join a loving family while they wrestled, rolled and played together here at DunRoamin'.  They are both beautiful, friendly, loving and affectionate cats who would love to start a brand new life in a safe, loving and caring family situation.

On January 14, 2026, their dream came true when both Fable (now Echo) and Forge (now Ellis) were adopted by a couple from Fredericton who had already adopted our Morris (now August) and Aura (now Flora), as well as another feline family member, Kitty.  We are very happy for Fable and Forge, and look forward to many photos and stories about all five feline family members.  Thank you for adopting two more DunRoamin' cats!!  You are awesome!!
Laura
Laura came to DunRoamin' on July 10, 2025 from the Woodstock area where she had been found all alone in some old farm machinery.  Laura was diagnosed with a hernia which required surgery to repair, and as no one could take on the responsibility or the cost for her care, she came to us.  Laura was born about June 4, 2024, so was just over a year old - way too young to have that kind of a medical issue with no one to help her.

Laura underwent surgery and was soon doing fine.  She is now ready for a new home - healed, spayed, tested for FIV and FeLV, treated for all parasites and fully up to date on her vaccines until June of 2026.  She is a beautiful and sweet little girl who looks forward to having a home and family where she will be kept safe inside so that she can enjoy this new life she has been given.

Laura is a sweetheart!  She is very social, quiet and loving.  She enjoys other cats (especially Brix, with whom she loved to run and play - they frequently chased each other up and down the hall).  She is a tiny little girl with a huge, loving personality who would fit into almost any household!  She spent some time visiting friends at The Purrfect Cup - A Cat Cafe in Two Nations Crossing.  Please drop in - you will LOVE this place!  Amazing coffee and treats, and some cats as well!!

On January 10, 2026, Laura was VERY excited to learn that she had been chosen as the newest member of a wonderful family in Fredericton.  She will now be the new sister of three human children who love her SO much already!  Congratulations, Laura!  Write soon!

Write soon!

Write soon!

Bryan, a little grey tabby kitten, came to DunRoamin' on December 10, 2025 from near Centreville where he was found under a porch, along with his brother, Stewie, a little black and white sweetheart.

On April 18, 2026, Bryan and Stewie were so happy to learn that they had been chosen to  join a family in Fredericton Junction where they will be loved and spoiled for the rest of their lives.  Congratulations!!  Write soon, and let us know how you  are enjoying your new home!  We look forward to hearing from you and seeing lots of photos!

Zeppelin

Show description

Write soon!
