| Archie |
|
Archie came to us on November 20, 2013 from Centreville. Early that morning we got a call about a mother cat who had gotten her head stuck in a glass jar. She had succeeded in breaking the jar, but the glass ring was still around her neck as it had been for several weeks. It was believed that the jar was cutting her neck. She had six tiny babies that she was nursing and had no shelter. Kind people were trying to feed her, but she was very scared.Archie does not appear to be her kitten, but he obviously needed help. They had no food and very little shelter from the extremely cold wind. Archie's rescuers caught him when he went into a cat carrier for food. He was taken to the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic where he was determined to have been born about July 20, 2013. He was very thin, starving, had fleas and was semi-feral, but he quickly learned that people can be good things! He is now very affectionate and cuddly. He was vaccinated and tested for FIV and FeLV, both of which were negative. He is now neutered. On December 23, 2013 he was chosen by a family in Fredericton to be their newest member. Congratulations, Archie! Merry Christmas!
| Comfy |
|
Comfycame to us on October 29, 2013 from the Pembroke area where he had been thrown from a vehicle. Assessment at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic determined that he had marked bruising, scrapes and wounds over his entire body of varying degrees of severity including damage to his left lower eyelid, entire top of his head, all four legs, left front wrist, injured tendons, etc. He had fleas and was thin. Thanks to the veterinary skills available at the Florenceville Vet Clinic, Comfy's doing very well and is already anxiously awaiting his turn at a permanent home. In the meantime he loves playing with his friend Samuel. He's spring-loaded and ready for fun!On December 16, 2013, Comfy was adopted by a gentleman in Woodstock where he'll spend his very first Christmas ever. We're sure it'll be a great one. Merry Christmas, Comfy! Please write soon.
| Lindt |
|
Lindt came to us on the early afternoon of December 4, 2013 when a man brought a carrier of five cats to DunRoamin', insisting that we take them. As we are a rescue as opposed to a shelter, several other options were presented to him as ways to find homes for his cats. However, he dropped the carrier on the floor and ran from the building, abandoning all five cats. They appeared to be about 10 months old, born about February 1, 2013. Lindt is a unique chocolate brown and appears to have Siamese characteristics. Lindt, her three brothers and sister were immediately spayed or neutered and vaccinated. All tested negative for Feline Leukemia and Feline Immunodeficiency Virus. Lindt is the most social of the group and seems to be the glue that holds them together. They are more comfortable when they see she's comfortable. On December 8, 2013, Lindt was chosen by a lady to come live with her in Simonds. Lindt is very loving and will be a most agreeable roommate! Merry Christmas, Lindt. We're so grateful you will have a loving family! Merry Christmas!
| Gypsy |
|
Gypsy came to DunRoamin' on the afternoon of October 24, 2013 from Woodstock. She had been one of several stray kittens in the area and a lady who was trying to help them realized that she had a badly-infected eye and asked for help for her. Gypsy definitely needed the assistance. She was born about August 15, 2013.Upon assessment at the Florencevile Veterinary Clinic it was determined that Gypsy had earmites and worms, but her biggest problem was the fact that her right eye was seriously infected to the point that she might have to lose it. She's been on antibiotics and other medications to attempt to save it, and it looks like she'll be just fine. Gypsy is a very loving little girl. She kneads and purrs constantly, no doubt happy and grateful to be warm, safe, fed and have a chance to save her eye. On December 8, 2013, Gypsy was chosen to be the newest member of a family in Woodstock where she'll be the first cat for her dog, Aspen, another ex-DunRoamin' stray. Thanks for giving her a home. Merry Christmas, everyone!
| Spicy |
|
Spicy and her sister Tomali (see below) came to us on October 8, 2013. They were three-week old kittens whose mother had been killed on the road in Clearview two days previously. They had been found on the side of the road in a box from which the mother escaped. Two other siblings had already passed away and a third died on it's way to us. They were emaciated, had fleas, were hypothermic and dehydrated.Spicy is a beautiful long-haired grey and white little girl who flourished with the care she received at the Florenceville Vet Clinic. She's very loving and playful. On December 8, 2013, Spicy was adopted by a couple who has fallen in love with her. They have several other pets, including Cashmere, another ex-DunRoamin' stray. Congratulations, Spicy. Please send us updates. Merry Christmas!!
| Red Rose |
|
Red Rose, Earl Grey, Pekoe, Tetley and Chai came to us on October 10, 2013 from Upper Woodstock. Their rescuer had seen a pregnant stray in the area for several days. On October 4 they noticed baby kittens but no mother anywhere in the vicinity. They began caring for the kittens in the hope that their mother would return, but she did not. The kittens were born on October 7, 2013. The babies were very thin, hypothermic and dehydrated. Their temperatures were raised to a safe level and they received subcutaneous fluids twice a day as part of their around-the-clock medical care and attention by a loving vet tech who has given her all to them. We can't say thank you enough . . . We're sad to report that little Chai passed away on October 13, 2013. Pekoe and Tetley left us on November 16, 2013 and Earl Grey passed away on November 17, 2013. Please read about them on our Memorials page. As you can see, Red Rose is thriving and was eager to have a home for Christmas. On December 8, 2013 Rose got her wish when she attended Olive's Christmas party where she met the family of her dreams. Her friend Zeta was also invited to join her as a new family member. This is the blessing of Christmas. Thank you.
| Zeta |
|
Zeta came to DunRoamin' on October 29, 2013 from a barn in Florenceville where she was found on a cement floor. Her littermate was already dead. Zeta was very hypothermic (freezing) and moved barely enough to let her rescuer know she was still alive. She was rushed to medical care at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic where her temperature was brought back to normal. Zeta was born about October 10, 2013.Zeta recovered well and quickly became strong enough to demand loudly to be fed when she was hungry. She loves to play, roll on her back and bite your nose and chin when you cuddle her close to your face. She loves other cats with whom she plays, cuddles and sleeps. She climbs willingly into her carrier for a nap and also cuddles with her stuffed animal. On December 8, 2013 Zeta met a man who immediately fell in love with her. She'll now live in Woodstock with her new family which also includes her friend Red Rose (see above). Thanks to these people for giving her her favourite Christmas wish!
| Caspion |
|
Caspion came to DunRoamin' on August 10, 2013. He had been born about June 15, 2013. A man from Woodstock brought her to the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic and fled, leaving him and his eight siblings in a box for DunRoamin' to care for. They had been left in a box on his deck while he was away from home.Caspion was probably the most scared of all, but he took comfort in the presence of his family and the abundance of love shown by DunRoamin' volunteers. Now he's every bit as comfortable, loving, playful, secure and affectionate as any of his siblings. He melts into your arms as if he doesn't have a bone in his body! He's unique in the fact that while he's mostly black with white, his whiskers are perfectly white! On December 7, 2013, Caspion met his new mother. He'll now live in Bristol with his new family which includes a three-year old daughter with whom he'll grow up. Congratulations, Caspion! You got your Christmas wish!! Yeahhhhh!!
| Willow |
|
Willow, Wicklow (adopted November 13) and their brother Wimbledon (adopted September 14) came from Wicklow on July 8, 2013. A young man driving on the Old Trans Canada Highway noticed a dead mother cat on the side of the road. One kitten was thrashing about and three others were on the roadside. By the time he got his car stopped and moved the three kittens to safety, the fourth baby had passed away. They were born about June 10, 2013 and were just beginning to eat on their own. They obviously missed their mother and were scared. Willow and her siblings would never have survived on their own. They were spayed/neutered, vaccinated and given all the love and care possible. Willow is a very happy and playful little girl who loves cats, dogs, kids and everything in between. She's full of kitten antics! On November 19 she went to a foster home in Beechwood where she so endeared herself that . . . . . . on December 5, 2013 she was invited to be a full-fledged family member! She'll now live forever with Snickers, another ex-DunRoamin' cat and her new loving family! Congratulations, Willow! Merry Christmas!

| Upton |
|
On November 2, 2012, "Upton," and his brothers Urban and Uzi were left at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic. They were found near a school in Woodstock and were brought to DunRoamin' to be assessed by vet staff at the Clinic under the guise of being sick. They had only a few fleas which were treated and paid for by DunRoamin'. These kittens were healthy, happy, playful and very social. The people who left them refused to return for them and had "far too much going on to be concerned . . ." about them, their status or welfare. They were born about September 15, 2012.Upton is the cuddler of the trio and was always looking for a lap or some arms to jump into. He is very sure of himself and likes dogs. If no person is available, sleeping on the dog will do just fine! He was fostered with his adopted brother Uzi in Perth-Andover.On November 5, 2013, Upton was officially adopted by his foster family where he'll happily play and cuddle with his brother and new mother for the rest of his life! What a lucky boy! Send lots of family photos!!
| Grissom |
|
Grissom came to us from the Broadway Street area of Woodstock on September 14, 2013. A lady has been trying to help the ubiquitous homeless strays there for several years. Today Grissom was observed to be in distress so was brought for help. He was born about September 2010.Grissom was dehydrated and had fleas, but his biggest problem was the long-term infection he had on all four legs. He was in dire need of assistance and thankfully he finally got it. He was scared, but aware that people were trying to help him. He's been in bad shape for awhile, and he's suffered. Grissom received the care he needed and . . .. . . on October 31, 2013 he was adopted to a home near Perth-Andover where he'll be allowed to live as a feral cat under the watchful eye of people who will feed and shelter him. He's going to be fine now. Thanks to all who helped him.
| Ichabod |
|
Ichabod came to DunRoamin' from Upper Kent on October 16, 2012. He had been hanging around a home for about two days and had already been neutered, so had belonged to someone at some point in his life.Ichabod was skinny, had many fleas and had several open and infected sores on his paws. He was very quiet and unsure of himself when he first arrived, but quickly became quite vocal in demanding attention if a human walked by! He's a really affectionate cat who loves to cuddle. He was fostered in Wakefield by some wonderful cat (and dog) people! On October 31, 2013 he was adopted by a family in Woodstock where he is the perfect friend and confidant of a young boy who has been waiting for him. They're inseparable and love each other dearly. Ichabod thanks his foster family for caring for him since December 15, 2012. He's grateful for the love that he's learned from you. He'll pay it forward for sure.
| Loki |
|
Loki came to us on April 25, 2013 from Plaster Rock where he had become very sick and his owners had not been able to care for him.Loki was born about September 1, 2013 and has problems with his liver. He's doing very well right now and was fortunate to have the opportunity to live in a foster home. He's a real sweetheart who adores people and is at his best when there's a human by his side. He's presently fostered with the family of a vet tech from the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic. I think we might have to say he's her favourite! She reports that he's the most cuddly cat she's seen in a long time! He LOVES people and LOVES to cuddle! On December 20, 2013, Loki decided that he should become their Christmas present, so what could his family possibly say? They belong to him, and that's all there is to it! Congratulations, Loki! Merry Christmas to you and your family! Send us family photos!
| Banks |
|
Banks came from Riverbank on May 15, 2013 when she was found all alone and not feeling very well. Banks was very thin, had an upper respiratory infection which made it hard for her to breathe and had earmites and fleas which made her very uncomfortable.Banks was born about the middle of October, 2012. She's just a little girl who may not grow to be very large. She's a real sweetheart who loves people and other cats. She just wants a family of her very own to love her. On October 20, 2013 DunRoamin' had a birthday party for Banks. Many of her friends attended to express their best wishes and bring her presents and donations, for which she is so very grateful. But the best birthday gift of all was . . .. . . a new family! On October 20, 2013, Banks was adopted by a family in Plaster Rock where she will be a new sister to ex-DunRoamin' strays Janice, Obi, Kringle, Oleg and Joplin. Thanks SO much to this family for making her first birthday the best she'll ever have! You just can't top a loving family!!
| Sterling |
|
Sterling came to DunRoamin' on the late afternoon of September 27, 2013. He had been found with four tiny kittens in a box in Edmundston. One had already passed away, probably of starvation as they are barely old enough to eat on their own. The SPCA was called, but they were not willing to care for them and euthanization instructions were given. Neither the person rescuing them nor their new vet was willing to allow this to occur.Sterling is about a year and a half old and all that he required was some medication for his earmites. He is otherwise calm, quiet, loving, affectionate and happy to have some love and attention. He's obviously been around people and he's such a nice boy to have stayed with the baby kittens. Perhaps they're his daughters, or nieces! On October 20, 2013, Sterling met a couple from Lakeville. He will be the newest addition to their family, and his buddy Bolt (see above) is going with him!! He looks forward to a long and happy life!

They were both extremely terrified.Ashley was born about July 7, 2013. She had really bad earmites that were easily cured and was otherwise healthy. She was obviously unwanted, but why? She's a beautiful little girl who was scared to death, confused and traumatized by her experience. It's taken her a little longer to feel secure . . .On October 20, 2013 she and her brother Dan were both adopted by a couple from Coldstream. We're glad they'll have a loving family and will be safe, warm and loved for the rest of their lives. Congratulations to all.

Send photos soon! | |
| Ciska |
|
Ciska was found in Woodstock on November 1, 2012. She was born about the first of August, 2012. She had obviously had some trouble, as she had sustained damage to the nerves in her spinal column which had caused paralysis in her left front leg, her right front leg was badly broken and her lower lip had been torn from her jaw.Despite all this, she purred happily. She ate despite her facial injury - that's how hungry she was. On November 3, 2012, she underwent surgery to have her left front leg amputated and a pin put in her right front leg. Her lip was re-attached also. She's particularly playful and will stand on her haunches and play with string with her one front paw. She purrs constantly! In March, 2013 she went to a foster home where she was loved so much . . .. . . that on October 5, 2013 she was adopted by her foster family in Centreville where she'll live happily every after. Congratulations, Ciska!

She also had bad earmites. She was born about June 15, 2013, so she's just a baby. She was given fluids and lots of medical care. She's not out of the woods yet, and had a very bad day on August 27, but as of September 10, 2013 she's doing well. Ditch came back to DunRoamin' on September 20, 2013. She originally came to us on August 31, 2006 when she was found in a Ditch in Rosedale all alone with an injured leg. She was adopted out on November 25, 2006 along with her friend Olivia (see below). They had a great home with loving parents, but unfortunately health problems made it impossible for their family to care for them any longer. Ditch is shy but once she settles in is very loving and demanding of attention. She loves to climb on her tall cat tree and survey her kingdom from above. She loves to have her belly rubbed and her chin scratched and although she doesn't like to be held if you're standing, she loves to sit on your lap. She loves her scratching posts and uses them readily. She has lived with a dog, so is familiar with them.On September 25, 2013, Ditch was adopted by a gentleman from Williamstown. She is fortunate that her friend Olivia gets to go, too, so they get to stay together when they join this new family. Congratulations!

| Kourtney |
|
Kourtney and his siblings Kris, Khloe and Kim, the Catashian Kittens, came to us on Saturday, July 7, 2012 from Woodstock where they were living with their mother under a store on Main Street. Fortunately, an employee was keeping an eye on them and realized that one had a problem with their leg. Their mother was feral and the kittens were about four and a half weeks old. Sadly, due to the poor start they had, all of Kourtney's siblings passed away. You can read about them on our Pet Memorials page. Kourtney is a very social little kitty who loves people and loves attention. He's definitely one of the most loving and attentive kitties we've met.On September 8, 2013 Kourtney met a nice lady from Wapske who fell in love with him. She made him an official family member, along with his friend Prowl (see below). Thanks very much, Karen! Please write soon!
| Prowl |
|
Prowl came back to DunRoamin' on June 21, 2013 from the Centreville area. He was born about the middle of May, 2012 and had been dropped at the Carleton Co-Op in Florenceville to fend for himself. He had come to us on July 19 when he was only about eight weeks old. He had earmites, was very thin, hungry and thirsty. Luckily the Co-Op staff was there to help him. He was adopted to a family in Centreville in October, 2012, but unfortunately they had to move to Alberta and could not find a place to live that would allow pets. They miss him dearly.Prowl is doing okay with us, but he misses the constant companionship of having his own family at his beck and call and a human to sleep with at night. He's a sweet and loving little boy who would like nothing more than his own home again. On September 8, 2013 he got his wish. He and his friend Kourtney (see above) were both adopted by a very nice lady in Wapske where they'll be the newest additions to the feline family. Congratulations, everyone! Send us family photos, Prowl!
| Constance |
|
Constance came to us on August 31, 2013 after having been found on the road in Bedell. It appears she may have been struck by a vehicle. She's just a baby, having been born about the middle of March, 2013. Constance has several pelvic fractures and had earmites and a nasal discharge which indicated infection. She's a beautiful little girl who now will be warm, free from pain, and well fed while she heals. She's looking forward to having someone to care for her - a real family, like she deserves! On September 4, 2013 she met a man who would very much like to make her part of his family. She'll be a best friend for another ex-DunRoamin' stray and three children. Congratulations, Constance.
| Arizona |
|
Arizona came to DunRoamin' on the evening of August 26, 2013 when she was found near the river in Woodstock. She was all alone, scared and hiding in the bushes. Her rescuer was able to coax her to safety. She was very skinny, hungry, had ear mites so bad that her ears were bleeding, had a sore behind her left ear, matts in her fur, burdocks, fleas and a chipped upper canine tooth. Otherwise, she seems fine!! She was born about November 1, 2012.She's a beautiful little long-haired orange girl who is currently terrified of dogs and is not a real fan of other cats, but that may be just because she's scared of her new situation. We're hoping she'll have a home very soon.On September 4, 2013 Arizona was lovingly adopted by a young lady in Woodstock. She can't wait to meet her new feline brother who is a larger version of her. Congratulations to you and your new family! Please send lots of pictures.
| Dancer |
|
This is "Dancer." On June 28, 2011, three cats and 12 kittens were rescued from a barn near Hartland. They were enclosed in a shed and were hungry and thirsty. Most had ear mites, fleas and worms, and they appeared to be from three families. Dancer was the mother of four little girls - Dazzler, Domino, Dizzy and Dylan. All were slightly timid and appeared to not have had much human contact. The kittens rapidly became socialized, though, with the help of their foster family and feline foster brothers and sisters. We'd like to thank Kelly and Kevin for taking them in and giving them a chance at becoming members of a real family. Dancer came a very long way from the frightened, timid, hand-shy little girl that arrived only a few months ago. She loves to play like a kitten, and she's a real sweetheart. On September 3, 2013 Dancer was adopted by her foster family with whom she'd been living since September 19, 2012. They couldn't think of her as not being a permanent member, so now it's official! Congratulations, Dancer! Please stay in touch and send us new photos!
| Kringle |
|
Kringle came from Woodstock on December 13, 2011 where he'd been running loose for about three weeks. Two weeks ago someone noticed that his eye was injured. We offered to treat the injury if the person could take him and keep him warm, safe and fed for about a month, when we hoped to have room for him, as we currently have no place for him to go. This person refused and brought him to DunRoamin' where they insisted that he either would be taken by us or he'd be taken back and let loose to survive on his own. Kringle's right eye has been injured, perhaps in a fight. He has external scarring on his eye and has lost vision in it as a result. He would have a very difficult time surviving outside on his own. As a result of his injury, Kringle had been rubbing his eye and his lower eyelid had rolled inward where it had damaged his eye to the extent that it had to be removed. Kringle also had fleas and ear mites. He was wearing a flea collar, so he's been somebody's family at some point. He was an intact male who was about two years old. He was fostered by a volunteer in Bath, where he lived happily with two dogs and several other cats whom he loved. On September 2, 2013 he was adopted along with his friends Joplin and Oleg by a family in Plaster Rock. He's got it made now, with his new parents and their two young daughters. His biggest problem will be choosing whose bed to sleep on at night! Congratulations, Kringle! Your foster mother misses you - please write often!
| Joplin |
|
This young beauty is "Joplin." On May 26, 2011, while in the Debec area, Dr Monteith noticed a pregnant stray running loose. She picked her up, realizing that she needed help. Only a very few hours later, Joplin gave birth to six little kittens. She was grateful for the warm bed, food, and safe place for her and her family of two boys and four girls. She was born about May, 2010. Hendrix, Nicks, Ronstadt, Stevie, Benatar and Morrison were born between 2 and 4 pm on May 25, 2011. They have all found loving homes. Joplin is a friendly, affectionate and beautiful girl. She enjoys attention very much, but is not demanding of it. She's just a quiet little girl who would love to lay on your lap while you work on your computer, watch TV or read a book. She just likes to have company around her, and she's very good company herself. On September 1, 2013 she got her wish for a permanent home. She and her friends Oleg and Kringle were adopted by a wonderful family from Plaster Rock where they'll be best friends with their two young daughters and two ex-DunRoamin' strays, Obi and Janice. Congratulations!!
| Oleg |
|
Oleg came to us on February 26, 2013 from Holmesville where he had been a stray. His rescuer and veterinary staff were appalled to discover that he had been shot in his front leg. The projectile had shattered the bones and his front right leg had to be amputated. He gets around very well now that he's safe and pain-free with animal lovers. He was born about the first of March, 2011. He's not that big of a dog fan!We may never understand why a human would do this kind of thing to a tiny helpless animal. But we understand his gratitude to the people who rescued him, treated him, will care for him and finally the family who will take him home and love him.On September 2, 2013, he met this family. They're a wonderful couple from Plaster Rock with two children and two ex-DunRoamin' cats. He's in the best home possible. Congratulations! And his friends Joplin and Kringle are with him too (see above). Ya-hoo!
| Boldly |
|
Boldly came to us from Woodstock on August 24, 2013 when a person who had been looking after him refused to do so any longer. They claimed he had an injured hind leg and several other difficulties. He was thin, had worms and fleas and was dehydrated, but otherwise appeared fine. He's about eight or nine weeks old. Stories vary as to how long he was there. Examination revealed that he could walk but had such a flea burden that he was weak. He has boldly gone in spots that no kitten has gone before. He's very cute, curious and happy. All he's missing is a family. On September 2, 2013, he got his family. He'll now live in Hartland with a lady who loves him dearly. He spent his first hour sleeping while purring on her chest. He's gonna be just fine! Write soon, Boldly!
| Leggy |
|
Leggy came to us from the Centreville area late in the evening of August 22, 2013. He had severe respiratory distress, back pain and was dehydrated. He didn't want to move and he didn't want to eat. He was most likely struck by a vehicle. He was just a baby, born about June 20, 2013. Leggy received the best vet care possible. He underwent surgery to repair his torn diaphragm on Sunday, August 25, 2013. As of the evening of August 26 was eating from a syringe and felt well enough to try to sit up occasionally. And he purred like a well-oiled engine! Leggy beat a multitude of odds by surviving. We thank Dr Monteith, Dr Drost and Mandy for their skill and determination in making sure he had the best chance possible during his very complicated and difficult surgery. It's all over now, and faith prevailed. He's gonna be just fine!On August 29, 2013 Leggy was adopted by a person with a unique attachment to him and he's right where he was meant to be all along. He's pretty special and he knows it as well as we do! "Somehow, even in the worst of times, the tiniest fragments of faith survive. It was the grip in which one held those fragments that counted." You did great, little one. Good job!
| Bo Peep |
|
Bo Peep came to DunRoamin' on August 13, 2013 from Wicklow. She had a torn lower lip and earmites. She was born about June 25, 2013. Her injuries are consistent with being thrown from a vehicle. We've seen too many of this type of injury.Bo Peep underwent surgery to repair her injuries. She has long hair and she's beautiful! She loves people and is very cute and cuddly. She can't wait for a loving family of her own. She's been waiting all her short life! Now it's time to see what love and family feel like!On August 27, 2013, Bo Peep was officially adopted by a family near Woodstock. She'll be the new best friend of a seven-year old cat and three cat-loving dogs. Oh! And of two humans, also! Congratulations!
| Cruella |
|
Cruella is a one-year old little girl who was found in Hartland on May 9, 2013. She was emaciated, had fleas, earmites and ticks and was severely matted with burdocks. On top of all that, her right hind leg had an open fracture to her femur leaving it in at least five pieces. The wound was contaminated with gravel also. Cruella was born about the middle of May, 2012.Due to the extent of her injury, Cruella's leg required amputation. Her fur was shaved to remove the burdocks and she received the best care available. She went to be fostered by a very nice couple in Bristol, and . . .. . . on August 23, 2013 she officially became a permanent family member. She is very best friends with with one of her new siblings and she's ecstatic that she gets to stay there forever!! She's put on weight, sleeps on her mother's chest and runs the household! Thanks to her new family!
| Herman |
|
Herman came to DunRoamin' on May 3, 2013 from Bloomfield, NB where he was found in an abandoned barn. He had porcupine quills and was in a lot of pain from them. At five weeks of age, he was way too young to care for himself and he needed help, so he came to us. He was hungry, dehydrated and had subcutaneous emphysema. He would most likely not have survived for long on his own. Herman was born about April 1, 2013.He lived in a foster home where he loved his foster family. He loved to play tag with human toes and he loved eating! He is cuddly and likes to talk when no one is paying attention to him. He comes when called and loves to chase cloth mice. Herman eventually moved to a foster home in Red Rapids where it took him no time to win over his foster father, so . . .. . . on August 17, 2013 he was adopted by his loving foster family and he's now permanent! This deal was sealed with a hug, Herman, so it's official! Thanks to his family for caring for him so much. He's got it made now!
| Cersei |
|
Cersei came to DunRoamin' from Gordonsville on January 12, 2012 where she had been slipping into an insulated outdoor cat box built buy some caring people to ensure cats had shelter when they were outdoors on these cold winter days. Cersei's saviours were alerted by their dog Maddy that she was in the box and this time seemed willing to stay. She was immediately given food and warmth and was examined by a vet the very next morning where it was learned she was about two or three years old, had fleas, was cold, very thin and was dehydrated to the point that she required intravenous fluids. She was only 4.7 pounds, and had a thick fur coat, so she had been outdoors for awhile, but obviously could not find enough food to sustain herself. As her rescuer said, "Like a starfish on a beach that was picked up and thrown back to sea, help mattered to that one . . ." Cersei showed her gratitude by putting on weight and loving every human she met! She thanks her foster family in Riverbank. On August 17, 2013 Cersei was adopted by a lady in Bedell who adopted Primrose a few days previously (see below) and took Cersei along as a foster cat. It took her no time at all to realize Cersei was the perfect friend for both her and Prim, so now they're a family! Thank you, Janet. Please stay in touch!
| Primrose |
|
Primrose came to DunRoamin' on March 30, 2013 from a home in Fredericton where she lived with a student who could no longer keep her. She originally came to DunRoamin' on May 11, 2012 from Bristol where she had been a stray who was covered with burdocks, had a fever and injuries on her shoulders, perhaps by being attacked by a large bird. Primrose is a beautiful long-haired little girl who initially takes some time to get to trust, but then she's all in.On August 14, 2013 she was adopted by a lady in Bedell who says she rules the household! Please send lots of photos and updates, Prim. We miss you!
| Asparagus |
|
Asparagus was born on April 10, 2013. He came to us on May 6, 2013 with his mom, Kale, who was injured when she was thrown against a wall. Kale has recovered from her broken leg and has been adopted. Asparagus is the last of Kale's kittens to be adopted. Cucumber, Pickles and Zuchini all have homes. Asparagus is a beautiful little kitten who was fostered by a DunRoamin' board member in Perth-Andover while he awaited his turn for a family. He's very cute, loving and playful. He was a little lonely without his siblings so. . .. . . on August 4, 2013 he was adopted by a couple in Quispamsis where he'll be a friend for their older cat, Jasper. Congratulations!
| Olive Ingrid White |
|
Olive Ingrid White was born about March 2009 and came to DunRoamin' on December 8, 2010. She had arrived at a shelter with a fractured pelvis. Due to her injury, her body was unable to remove excrement and along with the pain of her injury, she was severely constipated. Her whole abdomen was full of rock-hard pieces of excrement that could not move. She stood a good chance of being euthanized. Dr Monteith took one look at her and decided it was time for a miracle. After all, isn't that what Christmas is all about? Due to her vet's efforts, as of just hours after her arrival, Olive's constipation had already improved. She was eating and receiving all the pain medication and medical care she required. She's named after "the other reindeer" and did very well in her recuperation. She needs to have a laxative twice a day to ensure she doesn't encounter the same problem, but otherwise she's PERFECT! She loves to play, especially with dangling strings, and she loves dogs.On Canada Day, 2013, Olive met a lady from Perth-Andover and decided she'd like to make her her human. So that's what happened - Olive now has her own family and she is queen of the house already. Congratulations, Olive. It's been a long time coming, but it's definitely worth it! Write often!
| Zuchini |
|
Zuchini was born on April 10, 2013. She came to us on May 6, 2013 with her mom Kale who was injured when she was thrown against a wall. She had one brother and two sisters who also came with her. Zuchini is a beautiful little kitten who was fostered with her siblings while her mother's broken leg healed. Then she went to a foster home in Perth-Andover.On June 23, 2013, Zuchini met a lady and her son from Florenceville. They had seen her on the website and had fallen in love. Zuchini now lives happily ever after with them in the home she's dreamed of her entire short life! Congratulations!
| Tribute |
|
Tribute came to us on June 23, 2012 from MacKenzie Corner where he was a stray who had probably been dropped at the home of people known to care for cats. They noticed that he was limping quite badly and needed medical attention. He was about two years old, and had a bad abscess on his right hind leg. He also weighed much less than he should. He was a hungry and exhausted little boy.Tribute's injury was treated and he received all necessary medical care. He was then neutered and vaccinated. He's a very nice little boy. He's a bit timid, but did well with the other cats that he lived with. However, his true personality came out on . . .. . . June 23, 2013, exactly one year from the date of his rescue. He has shown himself to be very loving, affectionate, playful - all those things that come with the security of knowing that he finally has a permanent loving family. He's seen here with his two ex-DunRoamin' friends Monkey and Dylan. We're VERY grateful that he has his own people, his own siblings and his own world now. Thanks, Kevin and Kelly!
| Cucumber |
|
Cucumber was born on April 10, 2013. She came to us on May 6, 2013 with her mom (see above) who was injured when she was thrown against a wall. Cucumber is a beautiful little kitten who wanted nothing but a family of her own. On June 20, 2013, Cucumber was adopted by a family in Florenceville. Her sister, Pickles, was fortunate enough to go with her (see below), so she'll always have feline family as well. Thanks to the couple and their young daughter who have increased their family numbers by two! Please send photos and updates often.
| Pickles |
|

She and her siblings were fostered in Florenceville and then came back to DunRoamin'.On June 20, 2013, Pickles and her sister Cucumber (see above) were adopted by a family in Florenceville. They'll sleep on the bed of their 13-year old best friend and be her best forever-friends. Congratulations!
| Kale |
|
Kale came to us with her four kittens on May 6, 2013. It is alleged that she was thrown against a wall two days previously resulting in the breaking of her left hind femur. She needed help. Her kittens were fostered while she recuperated as they were crawling on her leg and making it difficult for it to heal. Kale was born about the middle of April, 2012. She required surgery and kennel rest to ensure her leg healed properly. On June 17, 2013, Kale was adopted by her rescuer who had been unable to get her out of her mind. She's a beautiful little girl who only deserves the best after what she's been through, and now she's got it. She'll live in Woodstock with her new family. Congratulations, Kale!
| Steve |
|
Steve and his brother Earle (see below) came to DunRoamin' on January 24, 2013 from the New Denmark area. Steve was born about the first of October 2012 and had never been neutered. He was very thin, had thin fur and a bad upper respiratory infection.Steve has been treated for his problems and quickly recovered. He had large problems to overcome, but once he was safe, warm, fed and had medical care, he did well. He was happy to learn he'd be fostered by a very kind couple in Perth-Andover. On June 16, 2013, Steve and his brother Earle were adopted by a nice lady from New Denmark. The boys have a whole new life, and they get to stay together! Woo-hoo!!! Congratulations, guys!
| Earle |
|
Earle and his brother Steve (see above) came to DunRoamin' on January 24, 2013 from the New Denmark area. They were born about the first of October, 2012 and had never been neutered. He had a bad case of upper respiratory infection, ear mites and also had an infection in his right ear. Both Earle and Steve were sweet little kittens who were happy to be safe and warm. With medical care, warmth and good food they were soon fine. They were fostered by a very generous and loving couple in Perth-Andover where they learned to be the perfect companions. On June 16, 2013, Earl and his brother Steve were adopted by a lady from New Denmark. Now they're permanent family members! Congratulations, boys!
| Jebus |
|
Jebus was returned to DunRoamin' on August 11, 2012 from the home in which he'd lived for two years. He was said to be a little too rough and had peed on the bed, but in the time he's been back with us he's been just fine, thanks to a little medication to cure his bladder infection.Jebus originally came to us in March 2010 and was adopted on August 7, 2010. He had entered into a feral colony in Lakeville, but was not at all feral, so he came to us to find a home.Jebus is marked like a tabby from the floor to the top of his legs, but then he is "mottled" with brown, black and grey. He's a truly handsome boy who is anxious to go back to similar living arrangements to those he's had the pleasure of experiencing. He has personality PLUS! On June 15, 2013, Jebus met a gentleman from Northampton who decided that he'd be the perfect cat for his family since they're missing their cat who passed away of old age. Congratulations, Jebe! Send us lots of photos of you and your new family, okay?? We'll all really miss you.
| Gaga |
|
Gaga came to DunRoamin' on August 31, 2012, when vet staff arrived at work to find her sitting all alone in a cat carrier in the parking lot. We have no idea how long she'd been there, but it was certainly a cool night and she had very little space in which to move around to keep warm. She is a long-haired tabby and white cat who is about three years old. She had been declawed and spayed already. She was quite upset, and who wouldn't be when abandoned in such a manner? She was healthy but scared and a little aggressive, most probably trying to compensate for her fear and lack of claws to defend herself from perceived danger. She'd been declawed at some point in her life. She initially had a hard time adjusting, but slowly realized that she was safe and loved. On June 10, 2013 Gaga became a member of a family in Perth-Andover that has one other cat, Jynx. She's taken over the bed and claimed the house, Jynx and her new mother as her very own. Congratulations, Gaga, you finally made it!
| Uzi |
|
Uzi and his brothers Upton and Urban were left at the Florenceville Veterinary Clinic on November 2, 2012. They were found near a school in Woodstock and were brought to DunRoamin' to be assessed by vet staff at the Clinic under the guise of being sick. They had only a few fleas which were treated and paid for by DunRoamin'. They were healthy, happy, playful and very social. The people who picked them up refused to return for them and had "far too much going on to be concerned . . ." about them, their status or welfare.Uzi was shy at first, but had the loudest purr of all. He loves to play and is now VERY outgoing! He's the first one on your lap! On June 8, 2013, Uzi met a young lady from Perth-Andover and that's pretty much the end of the story! He's in love, she's in love and the future is bright for both! Congratulations!!
| Stacey |
|
Stacey came to us on January 8, 2013 from Perth-Andover where he had been a stray for quite some time. People had been trying to catch him as they saw he needed help, but he had eluded their efforts for weeks by hiding under a house. He was eventually live-trapped and brought for help.Stacey was born about 2005 and apparently has not had the best of times. He was very thin, had earmites, fleas, severe stomatitis (inflammation of the mouth) and was filthy dirty. The stomatitis would have made it very uncomfortable for him, especially when he tried to eat. He also had to be shaved due to the matts he had in his fur. The matts prevented him from being as warm as he could be in the cold weather. He'd like to thank the lady who generously offered to help pay his medical bill from all the way down in Florida and his new friends who went out of their way to bring him to safety. On May 12, 2013, Stacey was accepted into a home in Riverbank. His new family has a reputation for caring and taming timid cats, so he's gonna be just fine. He thanks his new family and so does DunRoamin'!
| Double U |
|
Double U, and her mother and sister, Emm and Bee, were rescued from an abandoned home in Newburg in mid-August by a student who was moving away to school. They came to us on August 27, 2012. She already had three cats of her own she was taking with her and couldn't take three more, but also couldn't leave them on their own. She gave them food, shelter and love enough to show them that people were willing to help. They had fleas, earmites and were happy to have food and a safe place to rest. They were fostered by one of our DunRoamin' Kids in Woodstock. On May 11, 2013, Double U was adopted by a very nice lady from Upper Woodstock who also adopted Double U's sister Bee in January 2013 (see below). We're glad the two sisters will be reunited. Congratulations to all!
| Sly |
|
Sly came to us on April 23, 2013. He's at least 12 years old and is a neutered male who showed up in Belleville needing help. He had ear mites and fleas. Both ears were infected and he was very matted and filthy. He was lame on his right hind leg and he had severe dental disease and sinusitis also.Sly was given antibiotics, pain medications, ear medications, was treated for parasites and his loose and infected teeth were removed. He felt much better very quickly. He was a very lucky boy. On April 25, 2013, Sly was adopted by his rescuer. He'll now live with her and her other pets where he'll enjoy his last years while he lives the life of Riley. We're all so glad that, at last, you have the life every cat deserves. Best wishes, Sly.

| Maple |
|
Maple came to DunRoamin' from Maplehurst on April 12, 2013. She was only about a year old and was pregnant and in the process of aborting her kittens. This may be due to a physical problem, poor nutrition, having been involved in an accident - who knows? She had arrived on the deck of a lady in Maplehurst the previous evening. She had made her a safe warm bed and given her plenty of food and water. The next morning she noticed blood so brought her immediately for help. Maple is very loving and affectionate. She kneads constantly, purrs and talks - happy to be safe, warm and cared for.On April 19, 2013 Maple was adopted by a couple from Jacksonville where she'll live with them, their two dogs and five other cats, several of whom are ex-DunRoamin'. | Paris |
|
Paris and "Roam" were originally found on August 24, 2009, along with their mother, London, on the Dump Road between Bristol and Florenceville where they were probably dropped off to make their own way, as there are no homes in the vicinity. They were born about the middle of June, 2009. They had been adopted by a family in August, but they learned that family members were allergic. On October 5, 2009, Paris and Roam returned to DunRoamin'. They're both very affectionate and playful. Paris loves to pat you on the face, and Roam is the first one to greet you when you come in the door On February 11, 2010, Paris and Roam met a gentleman who lives in Oakland. They will be his only pets, and are looking forward to getting all the attention and love they deserve!

She loves her ferret friend with whom she plays and is great company for her human family also. We await a family photo, McHale!!
| Parise |
|
Parise was a sweet little boy who had been a stray who was dropped off in Juniper about three years ago. He came to DunRoamin' on April 8, 2013. He had been fed by caring neighbours but his only shelter was a box and blanket in an unheated porch. Since he was getting older, being an outdoor cat wasn't the best for him. And it's cold out there this time of year!!He was recently attacked by a wild animal and was brought for examination. His injuries included numerous cuts and scratches on his entire body, but he's going to be just fine. On April 9, 2013 Parise was adopted by a young lady from Wicklow who has promised him that he'll always be an indoor cat, he'll always be warm and he'll always have an abundance of food and love. Congratulations, Parise. You finally made it!

They initially had some upper respiratory twinges, but became well quickly with lots of love and care. On March 28, 2013 Ashes and her siblings were adopted by their rescuers. | Roger |
|
Roger came to us on March 1, 2013 from Woodstock where he had been a stray tom. He was covered with wounds on his head and body, most probably from fighting for food and for his very survival. He tested negative for FIV and FeLV. What a lucky boy! He was born about the first of March, 2007.His injuries included a torn and partially-missing left ear, his tail is twisted and partially missing and we've already mentioned the too-numerous-to-count wounds and scars covering almost his entire body. Roger has one blue eye and one green eye. On top of (or despite) all this, he's the biggest softie you ever want to meet. He's a cuddler and he has a squeaky high-pitched meow that endears him even more! On March 25, 2013, Roger was adopted by a gentleman in Woodstock. Congratulations, Roger. Write often so we know how you're doing!
| Dumpty |
|
Dumpty and her brother Humpty came to us on October 23, 2012 from Hartland where they were found in a box. No one could take them in. They were born about August 25, 2012. "Nimble" came to us a day later from the same place as Dumpty. He is most probably a half brother to Dumpty, the product of an older litter from an unspayed female. He was born about June 25, 2012.They both had fleas but were otherwise healthy, although they were very cold, tired and hungry. It took them no time at all to snuggle up and fall asleep, knowing they were safe and warm. Dumpty and Nimble are the very best of friends. They sleep together and love to play with each other. On March 13, 2013 they were officially adopted by a kind gentleman in Perth-Andover where they'll spend the rest of their lives. We're so happy they got their wish - to live together in a loving home.

Humpty was diagnosed with Feline Immunodeficiency Virus (FIV) so, although he's perfectly healthy, he must live as an only cat or with a cat who already has FIV, since it is transmissible between cats. On February 21, 2013 Humpty was adopted by his foster mother who loves him dearly. He will now live in Arthurette with the family he loves. Thanks, Angie!

| Creak |
|
Creak and her siblings Frost, Frisky, YumYum and NumNum came to DunRoamin' on November 1, 2012 after having been found wrapped in a towel at an empty home in Johnville. The lady who owned the home had been in a manor for some time and had passed away the previous week. People checking the house happened to find these little ones, and they're very lucky to have been found. It was a really cold night and the towel really wouldn't have helped much. They were starving and had fleas. They were born about October 5, 2012. They were fostered by a family until . . . . . . February 20, 2013, when they were welcomed as permanent family members. Congratulations to them and their family!
| Tipsy |
|
Tipsy and her sister "Talla" came to us on Valentine's Day, 2013 from the Debec area. They had been seen around a home for a couple of weeks, but when the weather got cold a nice couple gave them shelter and food. They soon witnessed Tippy having a seizure and were concerned for her. In addition, both little girls had very bad diarrhea that they couldn't cure. They were dehydrated, very thin and had earmites as well as coccidia. They were born about November 15, 2012.Both are very social, quiet and loving. They've obviously been with a family before because they're very familiar with being inside, and they certainly love attention. On February 20, 2013 Tipsy and Talla were adopted by a very compassionate and caring couple in Debec where they'll now be safe, warm, fed and loved. That's what it's all about!! Thanks to their new family for helping them!

| Kellar |
|
Kellar came to us on May 7, 2013 from Oakland. He had been found behind a garbage can by a lady who immediately brought him for help. Keller is about one year old, had fleas and earmites and a condition known as Micropthalmia, meaning that his eyes were not completely formed properly and he was blind as a result. He may have been born this way or it may be the result of an untreated eye infection. He had obviously been having a hard time out on his own. Not being able to see, he could not hunt or find his way in the world. He was very fortunate to be found and taken in by the family that rescued him. He also had earmites, fleas and burdocks.Kellar underwent surgery on May 8, 2013 to remove the remnants from his eye sockets to make him more comfortable. He's a sweetheart who has been eating up a storm. He is already more comfortable and happy to be safe and warm with lots of human attention. On May 9, 2013 Kellar was adopted by the most wonderful couple from Plaster Rock. They have experience with cats with disabilities and know exactly how to make them part of their loving family. We can't thank them enough for giving this little boy the life he deserves.
| Foster |
|
Foster came to us on November 27, 2012. She, her sister Groves and their friend Rosalee all needed help, and now they have it. They came from Coldstream where they were strays who were trying to survive on their own, but weren't doing such a great job. Foster had really bad earmites and was very hungry She was born about the first of June, 2012. Her sister, Groves, was in much worse shape.Foster is a beautiful little long-haired female. She was very scared at first, but now will enjoy a belly rub. She's doing very well, and has become quite familiar with all the goings-on in her new home. On February 3, 2013 she met a couple from St Stephen who fell in love. She'll be their only pet and will be spoiled beyond her wildest dreams. Congratulations on your new home, Foster. We look forward to hearing from you often.
| Halli |
|
Halli came to us on July 24, 2010, when a truck dropped a large number of cats on the Plymouth Road near Woodstock. Fortunately, some compassionate people realized what was happening and caught as many as they could. All kittens were skinny, hungry, had bad eye infections, terrible fleas and ear mites so bad that their ear canals were fully closed off with flea dirt and they could not hear. Several lost an eye because the infections had progressed so far. One is totally blind. Some weighed as little as 1.4 pounds and ranged in age up to about six months. Over the next couple of days volunteers rallied friends together and searched the area. Eventually 13 cats and kittens were found. They're beautiful little boys and girls, and we could all learn a lesson about how to handle adversity by watching them for only a few minutes. Each one is full of love and happiness, grateful for their life, friends and family. Halli has sight in only one eye and she's a beautiful, friendly, loving little girl. She also loves dogs. On February 2, 2013 Halli met a lady and her son from Saint John who had seen her on this website. They fell in love, and Halli has met the man of her dreams. She'll spend her time now with him. Her dream has finally come true. "When you wish upon a star . . ." Congratulations, Halli! Please send lots of pictures and tell us how much you love your new home!
| Greer |
|
Greer came to us on September 14, 2012 from Hartland, NB where a kind and generous couple had been feeding several strays who had been dropped off in their area. The lady had recently passed away and the man was moving, so these young ones would no longer have anyone to watch out for them.Greer was born about the middle of August 2012 and is a real sweetheart. He was fortunate to have a foster home with his three brothers, Gardner, Gaines and Gamble while he waited for a permanent home. Thanks to his foster family in Bristol and his other family in Wicklow. They've given him a whole new outlook! On January 31, 2013, Greer was adopted by a family from Glassville. He was fortunate to have his brothers Gaines and Gardner adopted with him, so their family stays together! Thanks so very much to their new family!

| Avis |
|
Avis and her brothers Abel and Abner came to us on November 2, 2012 from Lakeville where they were strays who had no one to care for them. They were cold and had no prospects for a safe and warm winter.Avis is very friendly and cuddly. She was born about August 1, 2011 and is a beautiful cat. She wants all the attention she can have and will stand on her hind legs to get it! She loves people and other cats. She's very social and outgoing. On January 29, 2013 she met a couple who fell in love with her. She now lives in Gordonsville with her new family, with whom she is very obviously in love. Congratulations, Avis. Write often!
| Draco |
|
Draco, his four siblings and mother came to DunRoamin' on October 7, 2011 from Gordonsville, NB. They had been born on an outside deck on October 6 during the first snowfall of the year. The owner wanted them gone. One had already died because of the cold conditions in which they were born. The others had no better chance of survival. All six cats were fostered by a strong DunRoamin' supporter in Bristol who informed us that Draco was full of fun and loved to prance around and be silly. He also loved to eat! He has faint tiger stripes on his head which adds to his already overabundance of cuteness. He's friendly and is the most vocal of all his siblings. He was the first to open his eyes, and will be the last of his siblings to find a home. He's very loving, affectionate, outgoing and vocal. On January 27, 2012 Draco, renamed "Bane," was adopted as the newest best friend of a young man and his cat, Batman, in Fredericton. They've already met and are fast friends. Congratulations!
| Dandilion |
|
Dandilion came to us on November 24, 2012 from the Woodstock area. She had a broken right hind leg which was giving her a lot of pain and she was unable to care for herself.Dandilion's leg injury was so severe that it required amputation and she quickly healed. She was born about the first of April, 2012, so she's really just a kitten. We're glad she got the medical attention and care that she required. She's very loving and affectionate and does very well on three legs! She's a grey and white beauty and she's hoping for a home where she'll not even have to think about not having four legs. She's perfectly fine with three! On January 17, 2013, Dandilion met a young lady and her mom from Jacksonville. It was the perfect match, and Dandilion made her way home with them. She'll be a friend for their two dogs and other cat. And she'll be waiting for her friend Figaro to come join her soon! Congratulations, Dandilion! We'll be waiting to hear from you!
| Glen |
|
Glen was part of a colony of feral cats in the Lakeville area. On January 30, 2010, he was brought to DunRoamin'. He's approximately six to eight years of age, and had entered into this feral colony because he could have food and shelter which was provided to the colony members by the kind people who cared for them. Glen has no tail. Glen's examination revealed that he had earmites, a healing wound on his right hip, infected eyes, nasal discharge from an upper respiratory infection, and ear discharge from a large purple infected mass which was growing inside his right ear. This required surgery which took place on February 18th. It was learned this mass was cancerous, and he will need ear medication every day to keep it at bay. Glen's medical requirements were all addressed, and he was also vaccinated and neutered. He's not feral at all, but had simply found the best way to survive by taking advantage of the generous people who ensured these strays would not freeze or starve to death. Due to his injuries, Glen stayed at the Clinic until March 11, when he was accepted into a wonderful foster home in Woodstock On March 12, 2010, we learned that he had endeared himself to the family to such a degree that they say he'll never leave! He now has his dog sibling, Hattie, and cat siblings Mr C. Tigger and Tallie, as well as his very own human whom he loves unconditionally! Congratulations to all!
| Glenda |
|
Glenda came to us on November 23, 2012 from Hartland where she had been a stray living near a home. People had been trying to care for her and several others in the area, but had had to move away, so she had no one to look after or feed her.Glenda is a very sweet little girl. She was born around the first of April, 2012, so is just a kitten. She's very affectionate and loves to crawl on your shoulder where she'll purr herself to sleep. She is extremely happy if she can be picked up, cuddled and patted - her motor never stops! On January 24, 2013, Glenda was introduced to a young lady from Knoxford. Glenda settled right into her shoulder and started to purr - they were made for each other. She'll have three young kids to cuddle with every night. Congratulations, Glenda. Please send us new photos for our website.
| Latoya |
|
LaToya came to us on June 7, 2012 from Holmesville. She was about a year old and was very thin. She had no one to take care of her and was barely surviving. She's a real sweetheart who was grateful for this new life she was given. LaToya is very affectionate and got along well with all the other cats in DunRoamin'. She loves attention and is the first to present herself when someone walks in the room. She's a sleek little tabby with lots of love in her, and if you walk away from her after patting her, she'll reach to touch you with her paw to pull you back! On January 31, 2013 we received news that LaToya's family with whom she'd been living decided that she was so wonderful that she'd have to stay as a permanent member. She's a new friend for their two other DunRoamin' cats, Nestor and Oscar. Congratulations, LaToya! Stay in touch and send lots of photos!
| Ephraim |
|
Ephraim came to us on October 15, 2012 from Jacksonville where he was observed as a stray. He was about three years old, was not neutered, had severe ear mites, all his canine teeth were broken and he had a large infected wound on his left front leg. These were all very painful things for this little boy to deal with all by himself. Ephraim's canine teeth required extraction, and his leg injury was treated. He is SO lucky to have been found by caring people. He was also lucky to be fostered by them!On January 5, 2013, we were elated to hear that his foster family wanted to make him a permanent member. This family is well known for their love of cats, so it's a wonderful home for him. He'll now live in Jacksonville. Congratulations, Ephraim! Way to go!
| Linden |
|
Linden came to us on November 28, 2012 from Wicklow where he had been found under a vehicle all by himself. He was cold, starving, had fleas and very bad worms. He also had an abrasion beside his swollen left eye and another abrasion under his chin. The abrasion on his left eye proved to be the result of a pellet that was embedded in his head. It required surgical removal. What he must have experienced! Linden was born about the first of August, 2012 and he's a purrer and a kneader. He LOVES people and other cats. He was fostered by the people who rescued him, and he had a great time! Thanks, Kamryn! On January 5, 2013, he was adopted by a wonderful young couple from Bull's Creek who had recently adopted Marcel (see below). Linden and Marcel, although not related, are SO much alike in everything from looks to personality - loving, affectionate, playful - and they both loved their new family immediately. Thanks, Amanda and Adam - it was great to meet you, and we look forward to many updates and photos!
| Marcel |
|
Marcel came to us on the evening of November 28, 2012 from Florenceville. He was skinny, had fleas and was cold and starving. It was also determined that he had a pellet in the left side of his face which was only detectable with x-ray. He has since had it surgically removed. He was quite vocal, but that's just because he had lots to say! He was born about the first of August, 2012, and everyone who has met him has fallen for his charms. On December 7, 2012, Marcel was adopted by a lady who lived in Bedell who had three dogs who normally loved cats, but one of them took a distinct dislike to Marcel and he was just not safe in the home. So on December 28, 2012 he came back to us to find a new home.Marcel loves dogs, cats and people. He's very affectionate and loves to sleep with his human on her bed where he snuggles in tight. He also enjoys cuddling with other cats. On January 3, 2013, Marcel was adopted by a very nice young couple from Bull's Creek. Marcel, renamed "Mason," will have the company of two dogs and two cats, as well as his adoring new humans. Congratulations, Mason! Please keep in touch send lots of photos!Pocket |

Archie

Comfy

| Lindt |
Lindt

Gypsy

Red Rose
Thank you.

Zeta

Caspion
Yeahhhhh!!

Willow

Upton

Grissom

Ichabod

Banks

| Sterling |
Sterling

Ashley appeared on the doorstep of DunRoamin' on the morning of September 26, 2013 where she was found by the first person in. She and her brother Dan (see above) were taped into a cardboard box from the PharmaSave with some air holes and a bit of food which they had upset.

| Ciska |
Ciska

DitchNo Images Yet

Kourtney

Prowl
Arizona

| Dancer |
Dancer

| Kringle |
Kringle

Joplin

Oleg
Ya-hoo!

Boldly

| Leggy |
Leggy
Good job!

| Cruella |
Cruella

| Herman |
Herman

| Cersei |
Cersei

Olive Ingrid White

Then she went to a foster home in Perth-Andover.On June 23, 2013, Zuchini met a lady and her son from Florenceville. They had seen her on the website and had fallen in love. Zuchini now lives happily ever after with them in the home she's dreamed of her entire short life! Congratulations!

| Tribute |
Tribute

| Kale |
Kale

| Jebus |
Jebus

| Gaga |
Gaga

Uzi

| Stacey |
Stacey

Double U
Maple
On October 5, 2009, Paris and Roam returned to DunRoamin'. They're both very affectionate and playful. Parise

Roger

Dumpty

Humpty
Humpty and his sister Dumpty came to us on October 23, 2012 from Hartland where they were found in a box. No one could take them in. They were born about August 25, 2012.They had fleas but were otherwise healthy, although they were very tired and hungry. It took them no time at all to snuggle up and fall asleep, knowing they were safe and warm. Humpty has a tinge of orange on his head, and Dumpty has a bit of grey.

Creak

Tipsy

| Kellar |
Kellar

Foster

| Halli |
Halli

Greer
Greer came to us on September 14, 2012 from Hartland, NB where a kind and generous couple had been feeding several strays who had been dropped off in their area. Thanks to his foster family in Bristol and his other family in Wicklow. They've given him a whole new outlook! On January 31, 2013, Greer was adopted by a family from Glassville. | Draco |
Draco

Dandilion

| Glen |
Glen

Glenda
Latoya

Ephraim
Way to go!

Linden

Marcel
Please keep in touch send lots of photos!Pocket
